Water Supply Pipe Cover
Water Supply Pipe Cover– providing cover against leaks or bursts on the customer’s supply pipe. The product offers an enhanced level of cover over and above Anglian Water’s Watertight Promise.The key features of the product are as follows:
- customers can make up to two claims per annum, with a cover limit of up to £2,000 per claim
- an engineer will aim to attend within two hours of the customer’s initial call
- in the event that you are completely without water and same day repair/replacement is not possible, customers can claim up to £500 towards hotel accommodation
- up to a total of 20 metres of supply pipe will be replaced, unless a repair would be just as effective.
Customers of Anglian Water Services are currently entitled to a one-off free repair on their water supply pipe. Should the incident result in the leakage of water, or the interruption of water supply as a consequence of damage to, or breakdown of, underground water supply pipes, Anglian Water Services Ltd organise and cover the cost of undertaking a repair to the underground water supply pipe. This will include temporary re-instatement, and they will endeavour to leave the pipe leak free. There is no limit of cover for repair costs for the first repair to underground supply pipes. The repairs will be carried out during working hours. This offer is strictly subject to Anglian Water Services Ltd terms and conditions and is limited to one repair per property.
